96fm in Cork have launched there Christmas stream for 2020. 96Mas plays non stop Christmas music and can be heard on all the usual digital platforms such as Tunein and The 96fm app.

The traditional Liveline Christmas Eve outside broadcast has been cancelled. Plans are underway for a special show to take the place of the outside broadcast this year.

Offaly county councel have granted RTE planning permission to remove there existing medium wave transmitter in the county and replace it with a new communication tower. the Ballycommon mast can now be replaced as long as RTE meat 9 conditions
