RTE is Ireland’s national public service broadcaster and is owned by the state. The broadcaster is funded by the TV licence fee as well as advertising on some services.

Wireless group is an independent radio group who operate a few of Ireland’s local radio stations.

Bauer Media Audio Ireland

Formerly Communicorp, Bauer have two national independent station’s as well as a few regional offerings.

Bay Broadcasting

Bay Broadcasting is a smaller group but they run some great stations based around music genres such as classic hits and rock.

According to the BAI Media ownership website Bay Broadcasting don’t own all of Classic Hits or Sunshine but let’s not confuse things here.
