Here’s what happened
RTE announced some of there cost cutting plans to try stabilise the broadcasters finances . This situation will be very interesting to watch and all we can really do is wait and see how things go.
In some sad news this week a UK based radio presenter was found dead in studio following his show. Mike James had been with Dee radio for 15 years. May he rest in peace.

And finally in some lighter news commercial stations can now apply for funding in a new round of the sound and vision fund. This round is for productions to help people through the pandemic.
