Here’s what happened
RTE’s trade union group voted against some cost saving measures this week. It’s unclear what this will mean in the long term but it’s likely there will be many further discussions on this in the coming months
In other RTE news this week, the death has been announced of broadcaster and songwriter Shay Healy. He was 78. May he rest in peace.
Winners have been announced in a county Clare radio drama competition. Groups sent in submissions and these were then played on Community station SBCR.
